StudioPress Premium WordPress ThemesI love running my website on Studiopress Genesis Framework! Seriously. The SEO capabilities are very good, having automatic updates – cool, a large selection of child themes to choose from (this one runs on the Education theme), and there is no “developer’s fee” when designing a client’s website. It’s very cool. And I am glad I went back to Studiopress. Plus there support team is phenominal!

I use BlueHost for all my hosting needs.

They’ve been my hosting choice for 4 years now. The cPanel File Manager makes it so easy to upload files and themes. No need to hassle with transferring files with an FTP client. In addition, Bluehost allows you to host an unlimited number of subdomain accounts. For a domain addict like me, it makes me a happy camper. Plus they have a super helpful staff. I am very happy with BlueHost as my hosting company.

Vimeo - High Quality VideosVimeo saved me when I needed a high screen resolution for my online screen capture videos. You Tube was not cutting it.

Plus your readers can interact on the video by leaving comments on the video. All you need to do is sign-up free with Vimeo. It’s pretty cool.

Fiverr.comFiverr is a bazaar – offering just about anything. Even thought I just started using Fiverr, my experience has been great! I’ve had a high quality anime picture drawn of me (came out really cute – you can email me for the artist name, if interested) and had logos designed – for just $5 bucks! Be careful – it can get addicting to click ‘order’.

99Designs - Logo Design99Designs does a great job on logo designs (web design & more). Plus they have a huge selection of well-designed premade logos for $99. Small price to pay good work. And they will add your company name to the logo for free within 24 hours. If you want your site to look top notched – a professional logo at a budget friendly price is a good way to start.

If there is one thing a blogger should become good at – it should be copywriting (or copyblogging). You could have the ugliest site, but if you can connect personally with your valuable readers, then you become your own gold mine.

Robert W. Bly is one of the top copywriter’s in the United States. Many of his typewriter methodologies can easily be applied to today’s online scenerios. In fact, the third edition of this book was updated to include those features. Great book (I have the book earmarked in many places to turn back for reference).

Tim Ferris… sometimes I think of him as quite an egotistical man. But if there was one person who I can sit down with a cocktail in my hand and pic their brain, it would be him. The man is a great launch coach. He’s living his life as many of us dream.

Now I finally understand what I need to do to live this 4-hour workweek dream. Read the book, really listen, and learn how to outsource (which is really hard for me to do). And if you’ve read the book, read it again. Everything you need to do to live your dream is in there. Get started!

Other Services (FREE) :

Audacity: Free Audio Editor and Recorder - Audio editor for recording, slicing, and mixing audio. Site includes help, downloads, and developer information.

Gimp 2.0 – The GNU Image Manipulation Program – awesome FREE software for all your photo/image needs.

CaptureFOX (firefox add-on) Capture Fox Movie is a Firefox add-on and a handy tool to create tutorials about a software, a web site or anything that can be displayed on your computer. It records your screen frame by frame. You can also record your voice (w/USB stereo headset with microphone – I paid $14 for mine on sale).

OpenOffice.org is the free and open productivity suite. What does this mean??? When I bought my computer, I only had a 6 month trial of Microsoft Office. When that ran its course, I didn’t go buy the software. Instead, I opted to download Open Office for free. What is great about this Open Office, it will convert your Word documents into .pdf extensions quickly, easily, and free! ;)

SocialOomph allows me to send an automated DM when you follow my twitter account. And I can schedule Twitter updates to be sent out anytime of the day. Great productivity tool! They also offer SocialOomph Professional – a ton more features – for a monthly fee.
